“At Garw Valley Tennis Club, the welfare and safety of all our members, especially children and vulnerable adults, is of paramount importance. We are committed to providing a positive, safe, and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy tennis to the fullest, free from harm or discrimination.
As the Welfare Officer with 18 years of experience working with children, I am personally dedicated to ensuring that the club operates in line with best practices in safeguarding. I am passionate about fostering a culture of safety, respect, and care throughout the club. Outside of my role, you can often find me at the club supporting my two children as they play tennis.
The club has a long history, with four generations of families having been part of Garw Valley Tennis Club over the past 70 years. This rich tradition makes the club special and family-oriented, and I am proud to continue that legacy of care and community involvement.”
